Early infectious symptoms are often missed in older adults, resulting in significant delays in care. By the time care is sought out, infections are exacerbated resulting in hospital stays that are expensive and prolonged, and causes exposure to hospital-acquired infection risks.
Through our patented technology, we provide timely alerts of early symptoms to caregivers and medical teams, enabling early intervention that reduces or entirely prevents hospital stays. Treatment plans can be started much earlier providing relief to patients and caregivers, and reducing hospital costs.
How it works
Our camera system is installed across the home to monitor individual and environmental hazards like objects and spills. The cameras send video over secure WIFI to the Vigilance AI Edge Node (similar to a router). This Node performs local inferences using computer vision models using real time video images. Alerts and notifications are sent out to caregivers and medical teams based on analysis of the identified events.
